About JJ Gourmet LLC
Locally owned in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Who you work with

Born and raised in Albuquerque's South Valley, Joseph Griego started JJ Gourmet two years ago with a single food truck and a commitment to feeding people well. In those early days, he could be found at community events across Albuquerque, cooking alongside local programs that serve underserved neighbors and giving his time as freely as his food. The trust he earned there led to JJ Gourmet's first major contract with the City of Albuquerque, providing three meals a day for adults in a residential recovery program, now in its second year.
Joseph leads the kitchen and the team, and he stays hands on in every part of the operation. As JJ Gourmet grows, he is focused on creating good local jobs and investing in his staff so they can grow with the company. To Joseph, a good meal served on time is a form of respect, and that is the standard JJ Gourmet holds every day.

Samuel Baker leads business development and growth for JJ Gourmet. He brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing and food distribution, including building direct store delivery territory in New Mexico for national brands like Pepperidge Farm and Utz.
Samuel previously served as Incubation Manager and Business Advisor at a local business incubator, where he built a food entrepreneurship curriculum and helped local businesses grow through contracts and retail placement. A University of New Mexico graduate, he has deep roots in Albuquerque's small business and food community.
Our story
JJ Gourmet started two years ago with one food truck and an idea from Joseph Griego: good food should reach the people who need it most.
In those early days, Joseph spent much of his time at community events, working alongside local programs to feed underserved neighbors across Albuquerque. He showed up consistently, cooked with care, and gave his time as freely as his food. Before long, people across the community knew him as someone who gives back, and the relationships he built at those events became the foundation of everything JJ Gourmet is today.
From community tables to a City contract
That reputation led to our first major contract with the City of Albuquerque, providing daily meals for adults in a residential recovery program. For people in the early days of recovery, a hot meal that shows up on time, every time, is part of their care. We take that seriously. We are now in our second year under contract, serving three plated meals a day with rotating menus and accommodations for special dietary needs.
What hasn't changed
What began as one food truck is now a full food service operation, but the reason behind it hasn't changed. We work by three principles: reliability, consistency, and communication. We are proud to serve the communities we're part of, and we are ready to bring that same care to more programs across Albuquerque.
JJ Gourmet LLC is locally owned and operates in Albuquerque. We serve programs across the Albuquerque metro, and we are a registered vendor with the City of Albuquerque.
